Board and Train

Calling all sporting breeds! This course is built to give your dog a positive experience with live birds and proper gun exposure to create a confident dog in the field.  Trailing, flushing, cover changes, live birds.Exposure to decoys and boat work available seasonally. Did we mention our ponds were made for dogs to swim in! We have it all. While boarding with Kaos we can build a solid foundation for your hunting companion. No official obedience training will take place during this program.

• Free and Fun meet & greet with you and your dog is required before enrollment

• Age requirement: 5 months to 10 months

• Can be done with older dogs if the dog has not had any gun exposure

• Lesson in the field included at pick up

• Dogs can go home on the first weekend if desired

• 14 day Bird & Gun Intro program: $1050.00 (includes birds)

Class

Class? Yes, a bird and gun introduction class. We meet once a week for 3 weeks. The first two sessions as a group and the third time individually. Each week we will learn and practice a step of the bird & gun training process and send you and your dog home to work on that concept. For this class you will have daily homework and need access to your own fields of light to medium cover where you can work with birds and simulated gunfire.
